R21Education are a specialist Further Education job board, and wanted a fully integrated digitial marketIng campaign to drive applicants and position their brand as cutting edge.

The campaign encompassed many aspects including:

Social Media: Creation of a social media strategy, covering Twitter and facebook for candidates and LinkedIn group for clients.
Mobile: Development and promotion of an integrated iPhone App
Search marketing: Create and manage a keyword campaign on google.

The release of R21Education’s app resulted in them being mentioned in Apple’s ‘New and Noteworthy’ section in the business category, resulting in over 1,500 downloads. They reached number 41 in the UK iTunes Business charts, which for such a niche market exceeded their expectations. They also hold the title of releasing the world’s first app for education only jobs.

Optimisation and adword bidding using over 500 targetted keywords, resulted in an increase in website traffic of 74%.

Social Media

R21 set up bespoke Twitter and Facebook pages aimed at applicants. The twitter feed generated 650 followers within 12 weeks, making it the second most popular in the sector. By following our advice R21Educations tweets are frequently re-tweeted and used in third party daily newsletters. Providing their followers with industry news, discussions and vacancies gives a broad range and allows for greater interaction with candidates and professionals who work within the education and recruitment industries.

LinkedIn was also used to reach clients, with a group set up which quickly achieved over 25% of all potential clients becoming members, allowing R21 to easilly communicate to its audience.
