Why do you specialise in online recruitment advertising?

Simply because the internet is the most efficient and effective medium for recruiting staff.

  • 80% of people use the internet to find jobs
  • Over 50% of people use the internet as their first port of call when looking for a job
  • 10% of people exclusively use the internet to find jobs
  • There are 68 million "job" related searched on Google UK every month!!
  • It costs a lot less than traditional methods allowing you to effectively cover the entire market.
  • There are many specialist sites available, allowing us to target specific types of job seekers.

How do you differ from traditional recruitment advertising agencies?

We differ in 2 main ways:

  • First of all, we only do online advertising, as it is much more cost effective and efficient medium than traditional paper advertising.

  • Secondly, we focus on generating applications for vacancies, as we believe getting the best people through the door is the most important thing in any recruitment campaign.

How do you deal with the high volumes of response you get from online campaigns?

  • Firstly we believe that a high response is a good thing, and that you should not try and create barriers to reduce the number of applicants. Typically it is the best candidates that are put off first, those who find it harder to find work are generally prepared to make more effort.

  • In terms of response management, we offer a full response management service, so that every applicant knows where they stand in the process. We also manually rate every candidate using our "4 star" system, this makes it easier for clients to immediately see which of the applicants are most suitable.

  • All of this means that it becomes a very simple and cost effective process that doesn't consume vital in-house resources whilst ensuring you attract the best quality applicants.

We have invested in a fantastic recruitment site, surely we should use that?

  • Indeed you should. But the "build it and they will come", approach rarely works, and certainly not for all the best candidates.

  • We think of recruitment sites like shop windows, yes it's important to have a good display to get people through the door, but location is even more important to ensure you attract the best of your target market in.

  • We work on both driving traffic to your site, and in getting candidates to apply direct to vacancies. Once people have applied, your site then works as a resource to give them more background on what it is like working in your organisation.

  • What a web site will not do is persuade someone to take a job, that is a function of what you do once they come in through the door and will depend on things such as the job, the opportunity, your business, the hiring manager, culture, where you are based and benefits to name but a few.

What is wrong with charging on a media or time basis?

  • The problem is that you are rewarding your agency for spending more money on media and spending longer doing campaigns. Neither of which are desirable, instead you want to spend less, move faster and attract better applicants.

Do you specialise in any specific type of job or industry sector?

  • Yes we only work with Further Education Colleges. However we can help you with any type of job in any location and in any sector.
